Whew! Taken a while, with a lot of fiddly fibre glassing, filling and sanding, but the nose section is now nicely aligned with the bonnet and the right and left hand guards / fenders are filled out to align with the overlapping nose section.
Wasn't happy with the big hole in the nose showing all of the secondary bumper, radiator and splitter bits, so planning to put a mesh grill in (eventually with a cobra badge in the middle of it 😀). Mesh grill still needs trimming and fitting, but left in for photo.
Also, bought a hardtop for the car too...
Final sanding and finishing off of the filler added to the left and right guards / fenders over the next few weekends and then the nose is pretty much done. Will then just need sealing and painting of the rear of the nose section and then it can have its final fitting, mesh grill fitted and lights mounted.
Blog posting and photo's doesn't show the amount of work I've had to do, but I'm getting there...
